JazzHR Pricing and JazzHR Cost per Month, Plans, Add-ons and the Staffing Agency Exception

JazzHR publishes three plans and a price for each, which is rare in this category. It also publishes a footnote saying those prices do not apply to staffing or recruiting agencies. Every figure here comes from jazzhr.com on September 28, 2026.

In one answer  JazzHR costs $1,000 a year on Hero, $3,480 a year on Plus and $5,508 a year on Pro when billed annually, which works out to about $83, $290 and $459 a month. Month to month the same plans are $110, $350 and $549. Every plan includes unlimited users, so the price is per company, not per recruiter. Candidate texting is a separate add-on from $39 a month for 50 candidates. The catch for recruiting firms is printed under the plan cards: standard pricing does not apply to staffing or recruiting agencies, HR service providers, franchises, multi-location businesses or companies over 250 employees, so an agency is quoted rather than sold a list price. No JazzHR plan lists a multi-step email sequence that stops when a candidate replies.

How much does JazzHR cost?

JazzHR costs $1,000, $3,480 or $5,508 a year for its Hero, Plus and Pro plans on annual billing. Spread across twelve months that is $83.33, $290 and $459 a month. The same plans bought month to month are $110, $350 and $549. There is no fourth tier and no plan without a price, so JazzHR prints a figure on 3 of its 3 plans, against 2 of 13 products for Bullhorn and 0 of 4 plans for JobAdder.

The numbers most pricing guides still quote for JazzHR are older ones: $75, $269 and $420 a month billed annually, or $99, $325 and $499 monthly. Those were real prices once. They are not what jazzhr.com shows today. On the current page the annual Hero plan is about 11 percent above the old $75 figure, Plus is about 8 percent higher and Pro about 9 percent higher, and the monthly rates moved by similar amounts. If a comparison article gives you the old set, it was not checked against the vendor recently.

We read the prices from the plan cards on jazzhr.com and from the price table the page loads for its monthly and yearly toggle, so both billing periods are covered rather than only the default annual view.

Hero: $1,000 a year billed annually or $110 month to month. Job postings starting at 3 a month, the ATS, email templates, LinkedIn Recruiter integration, premium listings

Plus: $3,480 a year or $350 monthly. Up to 200 active jobs, AI candidate matching, structured interviews and assessments, configurable task automation, standard reporting

Pro: $5,508 a year or $549 monthly. Everything in Plus, with offers and e-signatures, advanced visual reporting, custom report builder, workflow reports and all-access support

Does JazzHR pricing apply to staffing agencies?

No. Directly under the three plan cards, jazzhr.com says standard pricing does not apply to staffing or recruiting agencies, HR service providers, franchises, multi-location businesses, organizations with over 250 employees, or certain other types of organizations at JazzHR's discretion. For a staffing firm, a contingency search firm or an RPO provider, the $1,000, $3,480 and $5,508 figures are reference points, not an offer you can check out at.

None of the ranking pricing guides we read for this query mention it. They present the three plans as what any buyer pays, which is accurate for a single-location employer with under 250 staff and inaccurate for exactly the readers most likely to be comparing recruiting software on price. If you run an agency, plan on a sales conversation and ask two things in writing: what your plan costs and which plan limits apply to you.

The carve-out also tells you who JazzHR is built for. Its pricing page is titled for small business hiring, its plans are sized by open jobs rather than by recruiter desks, and the feature list is about job posting, applicant screening and interviews. There is no client CRM, no job order pipeline by client and no candidate submission workflow in the plan comparison, which are the things an agency ATS is usually bought for.

How much is JazzHR per month?

JazzHR is $110, $350 or $549 a month if you pay month to month, and the equivalent of $83.33, $290 or $459 a month if you pay for the year up front. JazzHR's own FAQ confirms it does month to month contracts, yearly contracts and multi-year contracts that lock in the price for longer.

The page says you save up to 24 percent by paying yearly. That is true for Hero only. Twelve months of Hero at $110 is $1,320 against $1,000 annual, a 24.2 percent saving. On Plus the saving is $4,200 against $3,480, or 17.1 percent, and on Pro it is $6,588 against $5,508, or 16.4 percent. So the bigger the plan, the smaller the annual discount, which is the reverse of how most software is priced.

For a business hiring in bursts, that shape favors a specific pattern: buy Hero annually if you hire year round at low volume, and buy Plus or Pro month to month for the months you are running a hiring push, because the annual discount on those plans is only about one sixth.

Does JazzHR charge per user?

No. JazzHR's FAQ says every subscription includes an unlimited number of users, so the plan price covers the whole company. What the plans limit instead is jobs: Hero lists job postings starting at 3 a month, and Plus lists up to 200 active jobs, both with a note that posting and syndication are subject to eligibility and usage limits at JazzHR's discretion.

That makes JazzHR cheap per person for a company with many hiring managers. Ten people using Plus pay $29 each per month on annual billing, twenty people pay $14.50. Compare that with per seat agency tools, where ten recruiters on Bullhorn Starter at $99 are $11,880 a year against $3,480 for Plus with everyone included.

The comparison only holds for a buyer JazzHR will sell standard pricing to, though. A staffing agency with ten recruiters is outside the published plans, so the per user arithmetic above tells you what a small employer pays, not what your agency will be quoted.

What do JazzHR add-ons cost?

Candidate texting is sold as a separate product in five packages, each with one dedicated company phone number: $39 a month for up to 50 candidates, $69 for 125, $99 for 250, $149 for 500 and $249 for 1,000. Extra phone numbers are $20 a month each on the three larger packages, and the 1,000 candidate package can add 200 more conversations for $59 a month.

Per candidate that runs from 78 cents on the smallest package to about 25 cents on the largest, so texting gets cheaper the more people you text. On the plan comparison, advanced visual reporting and offers with e-signatures are marked as add-ons on Plus and included on Pro; JazzHR does not print a price for either add-on on its pricing page. The FAQ also describes some add-on features as consumption based, billed on usage rather than as a flat fee, with usage visible inside the account.

Texting 50 candidates a month: $39

Texting 125 candidates: $69

Texting 250 candidates: $99

Texting 500 candidates: $149

Texting 1,000 candidates: $249, plus 200 more for $59

Extra dedicated number: $20 a month

What is the difference between JazzHR Hero, Plus and Pro?

The plan comparison on jazzhr.com lists 22 features. All three plans include job posting to free boards, premium listings, the LinkedIn Recruiter integration, a searchable candidate database, custom workflow stages, job-specific teams, roles and privileges, document storage, scheduled emails, email templates, the resume parser and video interview integrations.

Hero leaves out eight of the 22: knockout questions, bulk actions on candidates, workflow helpers, the recruiting calendar with Google and Outlook sync, interview guides, evaluation templates, source reports and timing reports. It also leaves out the two items that are add-ons on Plus. For most teams hiring more than a role or two a month, bulk actions and calendar sync alone are the reason to skip Hero.

Plus adds all of those plus AI candidate matching, structured interviews and assessments, and configurable task automation, with up to 200 active jobs. Pro adds offers and e-signatures, advanced visual reporting, a custom report builder, workflow reports and all-access support. The step from Plus to Pro is $2,028 a year on annual billing, so it is worth it mainly if you would otherwise buy the offers and reporting add-ons separately.

Can JazzHR send automated follow-up emails to candidates?

JazzHR lists scheduled emails and email templates on every plan, and configurable task automation from Plus. It does not list a multi-step outreach sequence that follows up with a sourced candidate over several days and stops the moment they reply. That is normal for an applicant tracking system built around inbound applicants, and it is the gap most recruiting teams fill with a separate tool.

If that is the job you need done, price it on its own line rather than upgrading the ATS. ColdOutreach researches each candidate or client contact, writes the first message and the follow-ups, and pauses the sequence automatically when someone replies. It starts at $39 a month on annual billing for the whole workspace and runs beside whichever ATS you already use, importing from a CSV. You can see what it writes on a real prospect in the composer at the top of this page.

For how this fits into an agency desk, see our recruitment outreach tool page and the outreach tool for staffing agencies, which covers redeployment and speed to first submit on contract orders.

Which JazzHR plan should you buy?

If you are a single-location US employer under 250 people, buy Hero annually at $1,000 if you hire a handful of roles a year and can live without bulk actions and calendar sync. Buy Plus at $3,480 if you run more than a few open roles at a time, because knockout questions, bulk actions and interview scheduling are where the hours go. Buy Pro only if you would otherwise pay for offers, e-signatures and advanced reporting as add-ons.

If you are a staffing or recruiting agency, the honest answer is that JazzHR's list prices are not for you, and the agency tools publish more relevant numbers. Manatal starts at $15 per user with a client CRM on every plan, Zoho Recruit's staffing edition at $25 per recruiter, Recruit CRM at $95 and Bullhorn Starter at $99. The full comparison, with the date each price was read, is on recruiting software pricing, and the company-priced alternative to JazzHR is covered on Workable pricing.

Common questions

The questions buyers actually ask before they switch.

How much does JazzHR cost per year?

JazzHR costs $1,000 a year on Hero, $3,480 on Plus and $5,508 on Pro, billed annually, according to jazzhr.com on September 28, 2026. Month to month the plans are $110, $350 and $549, which comes to $1,320, $4,200 and $6,588 over a year. All plans include unlimited users. Standard pricing does not apply to staffing or recruiting agencies.

Is JazzHR $75 a month?

Not any more. The $75 a month Hero price billed annually, with Plus at $269 and Pro at $420, is an older price list that many comparison pages still repeat. On jazzhr.com today, Hero is $1,000 a year, which is $83.33 a month, Plus is $3,480 a year and Pro is $5,508 a year. Month to month Hero is $110.

Does JazzHR have unlimited users?

Yes. JazzHR's FAQ says every subscription comes with an unlimited number of users, so the plan price is per company rather than per recruiter or hiring manager. The plans are limited by jobs instead: Hero starts at 3 job postings a month and Plus allows up to 200 active jobs, subject to JazzHR's usage limits.

Can a staffing agency use JazzHR?

It can talk to JazzHR, but not at the published prices. The pricing page states that standard pricing does not apply to staffing or recruiting agencies, HR service providers, franchises, multi-location businesses or organizations over 250 employees. An agency is quoted individually. JazzHR's plan comparison also lists no client CRM or job order pipeline, which agency ATS products usually include.

How much does JazzHR texting cost?

JazzHR candidate texting is a separate add-on with one dedicated number: $39 a month for up to 50 candidates, $69 for 125, $99 for 250, $149 for 500 and $249 for 1,000. Additional numbers cost $20 a month on the larger packages, and 200 more conversations can be added to the top package for $59 a month.

Does JazzHR offer a monthly plan?

Yes. JazzHR sells every plan month to month: Hero at $110, Plus at $350 and Pro at $549. Its FAQ also mentions yearly and multi-year contracts. The advertised saving of up to 24 percent for paying yearly applies to Hero; on Plus it is 17 percent and on Pro 16 percent.

Does JazzHR send automated candidate outreach sequences?

The JazzHR plan comparison lists scheduled emails, email templates and, from Plus, configurable task automation, but no multi-step outreach sequence that stops when a candidate replies. Teams that need sourced-candidate or client outreach usually add a dedicated tool. ColdOutreach does this from $39 a month per workspace, beside any ATS.
