Recruitee Pricing and Tellent Recruitee Pricing for Start, Advance and Optimize Plans
Tellent Recruitee lists three plans and no dollar figure on any of them. What it does publish is how the price is built, which is enough to know what you will be quoted on and where the bill moves after year one. Every fact here comes from Recruitee's own pricing page and help center on September 30, 2026.

In one answer Recruitee does not publish a price for any of its three plans. Start, Advance and Optimize all route to a demo, and the pricing page tells recruitment agencies to contact sales for a custom quote. The price is set by three inputs Recruitee does publish: the plan, the number of employees at your company in eight bands from 1 to 20 up to 1,000 plus, and the billing period. Every contract has a one-year minimum. Paying annually up front takes 20 percent off, and paying in monthly installments is still a twelve-month commitment. Recruitee raised list prices 5 percent for renewals on or after January 1, 2026, and its terms calculate renewals on fees excluding discounts, so a first-year discount does not carry into year two. Start is capped at 5 active job posts; Advance and Optimize are unlimited. The trial runs 18 days on the Advance plan with no card and does not convert automatically.
How much does Recruitee cost?
Recruitee does not say. The pricing page at recruitee.com/pricing lists three plans, Start, Advance and Optimize, and each one has a Get a demo button where the price would normally be. Its own FAQ answers the question "How does Tellent Recruitee's pricing work?" with the formula rather than a number: subscriptions are tiered by the plan you choose, the number of employees at your organization and your billing period.
That makes Recruitee one of three vendors, out of the fifteen on our recruiting software pricing comparison, that prints no price on any plan. JobAdder and Gem are the other two. Across all fifteen, 29 of 59 plans now carry a dollar figure, so Recruitee pulls the category ratio down rather than up.
The quote form on the demo page asks for your employee band before it gives you anything. The bands are 1 to 20, 21 to 50, 51 to 100, 101 to 150, 151 to 250, 251 to 500, 501 to 1,000 and more than 1,000. Pick the band honestly. Recruitee says it checks headcount against available tools and the numbers customers give it, and re-evaluates it before each contract year.
Start: no published price. 5 active job posts, single-page careers site, multi-board posting, pipeline automation, AI email and feedback writing, email and calendar sync, 200+ integrations, API access

Agencies: custom quote on every plan, per the pricing page
How does Tellent Recruitee pricing work?
Recruitee prices the whole company by headcount rather than charging per recruiter. Its 2024 pricing migration FAQ explains the choice directly: pricing on employees lets the whole company take part in hiring, and headcount is a good predictor of hiring volume. There is no seat limit printed on the pricing page, and Recruitee's help article on the plan change says Start comes with five job slots and unlimited users.
For a corporate talent team that is usually good news. A 60 person company with two recruiters and a dozen hiring managers pays one price for all of them. For a staffing firm the meter is less predictable, because the page does not define whether contractors or temps on your payroll count as employees. That question matters more than any plan detail, and it is the first one to put in writing.
Recruitee used to sell monthly plans priced by job slots. The 2024 migration removed slot pricing from all three plans and removed month to month contracts entirely. You can still pay monthly, but the FAQ is explicit that it is monthly billing under a yearly contract. You cannot buy single features from a higher plan either; the only things sold separately are add-ons.
Does Recruitee offer monthly plans?
No. Recruitee's pricing FAQ says contracts have a minimum commitment of one year, and it is possible to pay monthly. Paying the year up front gives a 20 percent discount. Put the other way round, paying in monthly installments costs 25 percent more than the annual prepaid price for the same twelve-month contract, because the annual price is 80 percent of the monthly one.
This is the detail that most comparison pages flatten. A tool with true month to month billing, where you can stop after three months, carries a very different risk from a twelve-month contract you happen to pay monthly. Breezy HR and Workable Standard both sell genuine month to month plans; Recruitee does not. If your hiring is seasonal, price the full year before you compare monthly figures.
Will the Recruitee price go up at renewal?
Yes, in two ways that stack. First, Recruitee raised list prices 5 percent for every renewal on or after January 1, 2026, on the base plan and any additional slots, according to its help center article on the change. Second, the same article quotes Recruitee's terms: fees for renewals are calculated on fees excluding discounts. A discount you negotiate for year one does not carry into year two unless your auto-renewal terms specifically say so.
The arithmetic is worth doing before you sign. Take any quote with a 15 percent first-year discount. At renewal the price is the list price plus 5 percent, with no discount, which is 1.05 divided by 0.85, or about 24 percent more than you paid in year one. Add a headcount review that moves you up a band and the step is larger again. None of that is hidden, but none of it is on the pricing page either.
Two defensive moves cover most of it. Ask for the renewal price, not just the first-year price, and ask for the discount to be written into the renewal terms. Recruitee's help center says discounts specified in your auto-renewal terms will be applied, so that clause is the one to negotiate.
What is included in the Recruitee free trial?
The trial lasts 18 days and tests the Advance plan, not Start. Recruitee's billing FAQ says it does not convert into a paid subscription automatically, and that once it ends you cannot access your data unless you subscribe. You can load sample data to explore, and that sample data is deleted when you subscribe. No credit card is required to start.
Because the trial runs on Advance, it shows you unlimited job posts, workflow automations and the AI screening credits that Start does not include. If you then buy Start to keep the price down, you lose those features and fall back to 5 active jobs. Note which Advance features you actually used during the trial before you pick the plan.
Is Recruitee good for recruitment agencies?
Recruitee is built for employers, and its pricing page says so in one line: if you are an agency, contact us for a custom quote. So a staffing firm or search firm cannot buy Recruitee at the same terms as a corporate team and has no reference number to negotiate from. The AgencyHub add-on is the employer side of that relationship, a place to manage the external agencies you hire, not a client CRM for an agency.
The plan lists do not include job orders by client, placement tracking, client contact records or submittal workflows, which are the usual reasons an agency buys an ATS. Agency systems publish more. Manatal starts at $15 per user, Zoho Recruit's staffing edition at $25, Recruit CRM at $95 and Bullhorn at $99. The breakdowns are on Manatal pricing and Zoho Recruit pricing, and the whole category is on recruiting software pricing.
Can Recruitee send candidate email sequences?
Recruitee lists automated emails, which it describes as pre-set emails triggered by candidate actions or stage changes, along with an AI writer that drafts personalized candidate emails and workflow automations from Advance. That covers keeping applicants informed as they move through your pipeline. The pricing page does not describe a multi-step outreach sequence to a list of sourced candidates or prospects that stops when someone replies, on any plan.
Texting is an add-on on every plan, and WhatsApp Hiring is a separate add-on. Neither has a published price on the pricing page.
If the job is reaching people who have not applied, whether passive candidates or hiring managers at client companies, a separate outreach tool is the cheaper and clearer line item. ColdOutreach researches each contact, writes the first email and the follow-ups, and pauses the sequence automatically when someone replies. It is $24 a month on annual billing for the whole workspace and runs beside Recruitee or any other ATS from a CSV. You can see what it writes on a real prospect in the composer at the top of this page, and the recruitment outreach tool page covers how the two fit together.
Why Recruitee prices on page one do not match
Search for Recruitee pricing and page one offers at least four different numbers: a starting price of $199 a month, plans called Launch at $91 and Scale at $333, a price of $10 per user per month, and 301 euro a month. Recruitee's own pricing page, read on September 30, 2026, publishes none of them.
Most of the spread has a simple explanation. Launch, Scale and Lead were Recruitee's plan names before the 2024 migration, when prices were set by job slots and monthly contracts still existed, so those figures describe a product that can no longer be bought. A per user figure contradicts Recruitee's own FAQ, which says it deliberately does not price by users. The remaining numbers are single quotes for one employee band and one billing period, which cannot be applied to a different company.
The useful comparison is structural, not numeric. Workable also prices by company headcount and publishes every band: $299 a month on Standard for 1 to 20 employees on annual billing, rising to $419 at 21. If Recruitee quotes you well above Workable for the same band, you have a reference point. The detail is on Workable pricing.

Common questions
The questions buyers actually ask before they switch.
How much does Recruitee cost per month?
Recruitee does not publish a monthly price. Its pricing page, read on September 30, 2026, lists Start, Advance and Optimize with a demo button instead of a price. The quote depends on the plan, your company's employee count in one of eight bands, and whether you pay annually, which is 20 percent cheaper, or monthly under a one-year contract.
Is Recruitee priced per user?
No. Recruitee prices by the number of employees at your company, not by users, and its 2024 pricing FAQ says it chose headcount so the whole company can take part in hiring. Start supports unlimited users according to its help center. Headcount is re-evaluated before each contract year, so growth can move you into a higher band.
Does Recruitee have a monthly contract?
No. Every Recruitee contract has a one-year minimum. You can pay in monthly installments, but you are still committed for twelve months, and paying the year up front is 20 percent cheaper. Recruitee dropped true monthly plans in its 2024 pricing migration, when it also stopped pricing by job slots.
How long is the Recruitee free trial?
The Recruitee trial lasts 18 days, runs on the Advance plan and needs no credit card. It does not convert into a paid subscription automatically. When it ends you lose access to the data you entered unless you subscribe, so export anything you need before day 18.
How much does Recruitee cost for a recruitment agency?
There is no agency price to read. Recruitee's pricing page tells agencies to contact sales for a custom quote, and its plans are built for employers, with no client CRM or job orders by client. Agency systems publish prices instead: Manatal from $15 per user, Zoho Recruit from $25, Recruit CRM from $95 and Bullhorn from $99 a month.
Did Recruitee raise its prices?
Yes. Recruitee raised list prices by 5 percent for renewals on or after January 1, 2026, covering the base plan and any extra slots. Its terms also calculate renewal fees excluding discounts, so a first-year discount of 15 percent plus the 5 percent increase means a renewal about 24 percent above what you paid in year one.
What is the difference between Recruitee Start, Advance and Optimize?
Start is capped at 5 active job posts and covers the basics: careers site, multi-board posting, pipeline automation and email sync. Advance removes the job cap and adds workflow automations, referrals, self-scheduling, offer letters and monthly AI credits. Optimize adds SSO, conditional automations, approvals, BI integrations, a sandbox and a dedicated CSM.
