JobAdder publishes no price for any of its four plans. Loxo publishes one firm number, Core from $149 per user per month billed annually and paid up front, and shows $199 per user for Professional in its credits section while the Professional plan card itself asks you to book a demo. For a five recruiter agency that makes Loxo $8,940 a year on Core or $11,940 on Professional, and JobAdder a quote. The bigger difference is structural: JobAdder sells its agency plans by headcount band, so the sixth recruiter moves you to a different plan, while Loxo sells the same plan at any seat count.

Both pages were read at source on October 13, 2026: jobadder.com/pricing and the JobAdder FAQ, and loxo.co/pricing rendered in a headless browser, which is the only way Loxo's plan cards load. Every dollar figure below comes from those pages or is arithmetic on them. The comparison pages currently ranking for this matchup quote JobAdder "from $119" and Loxo at $209. Neither figure appears on either vendor's site.

How much does JobAdder cost compared with Loxo?

On the information each vendor gives you, only one of the two can be budgeted before a sales call. Loxo states that Core "starts at $149 per user / month, billed annually," and lists it as a new customer limited time offer. Professional is the plan most agencies evaluate Loxo for, because it adds Loxo Source, the agents and outreach. Its card says "Book a demo to see pricing for your team," but further down the same page Loxo describes the 2,500 monthly credits as "included in $199." We treat $199 as Loxo's published Professional rate, with the caveat that the plan card routes to a demo. The full Loxo breakdown, including the credit Boosts, is on Loxo pricing.

JobAdder gives you nothing to work with. Every plan goes to a "Request pricing" form, followed by a call, a demo built around your business and then a custom proposal. The plan contents, seat bands and add-ons are broken down on JobAdder pricing. Figures you see quoted for JobAdder elsewhere are third-party estimates; we have not found one that traces back to JobAdder.

What a five recruiter agency pays on each

Five recruiters on Loxo Core cost $149 times 5 times 12, which is $8,940 for the year, paid up front. On Professional it is $199 times 5 times 12, $11,940. Because the team is above three seats, Loxo's free migration applies, which removes one line that often surprises agencies moving off an older system.

Five recruiters on JobAdder means Recruiter Lite, the band for 1 to 5 users. Its price is a quote. What you can compare is scope: Lite covers job posting, job orders, a careers page, email sync, temp and contract management, reminders and a report library, but not the business development Lead Feed, the care automations or API access, which start on Essential. So the fair comparison at five seats is Loxo Core against JobAdder Lite, and Loxo Professional against nothing JobAdder will sell you at that headcount.

What changes when you hire the sixth recruiter

On Loxo, nothing changes except the total. A sixth Core seat adds $1,788 a year, so the year comes to $10,728; on Professional the sixth seat adds $2,388 and the year comes to $14,328.

On JobAdder, the sixth recruiter changes your plan. Lite states "Maximum 5 users" and Essential is the 6 to 20 band, so hiring one person moves the whole agency to Essential. Depending on how the quote is written, that can re-price every existing seat, not just the new one. If you are at four or five recruiters and expect to grow inside the contract term, ask JobAdder to quote Lite and Essential together and to write down what happens at the band boundary. The same question applies at 21, where Essential ends and Pro begins.

Which one includes candidate outreach?

Loxo puts outreach in Professional. The pricing page describes "personalized multi-channel sequences, sent and followed through," with contact information delivered with each shortlist when available, and AI agents that run searches on credits. Each Professional seat carries 2,500 credits a month, pooled across the team and refreshed monthly. Busy desks can move individual seats to Boost 2x (5,000 credits) or Boost 5x (12,500), and neither Boost has a published price. Core lists email and calendar sync but no sequences.

JobAdder's outreach is automation inside the ATS. Essential adds workflow, client care and candidate care automations plus the Lead Feed; Pro adds marketing and business development automations. The page does not describe sequences that stop on a reply or research per prospect. It does sell a dedicated IP address as an add-on, pitched at deliverability and sender reputation, which is worth pricing if your recruiters email in volume.

Contract terms to check before you sign either one

Both vendors bill annually, so the terms matter as much as the rate. With Loxo, the price is paid up front and the Core figure is labelled a limited time offer for new customers, so ask what the renewal rate will be and get it in writing. With JobAdder, the FAQ confirms an annual discount without saying how large, and onboarding takes 2 to 4 weeks for a simple move or up to 10 weeks for a complex migration, so check whether you are paying for seats before you are live. Either way, put the renewal date and the cancellation notice window into whatever contract management software your firm already uses; the window to renegotiate usually closes before the renewal invoice arrives.

Is JobAdder cheaper than Loxo?

Nobody can say from the public record, and any page that claims to know is guessing. What is certain is that Loxo is the only one of the two you can price before a call: $1,788 per recruiter per year on Core and $2,388 on Professional. JobAdder's number depends on your headcount band, your add-ons and what you negotiate. If you want a published baseline to hold a JobAdder quote against, the closest agency systems that print rates are Recruit CRM Pro at $95 per user, Bullhorn Starter at $99 and Recruiterflow Platform at $119 on annual billing; all of them are on our recruiting software pricing comparison, and the JobAdder head-to-head with Bullhorn is Bullhorn vs JobAdder pricing.

When neither is the purchase you need

A lot of agencies comparing JobAdder and Loxo already have an ATS that works. What they actually want is more client business development: finding hiring managers with open roles, writing to them with something specific, and following up until someone answers. Replacing the ATS to get that is an expensive way to buy an outreach tool. ColdOutreach researches each prospect, writes the sequence and pauses it the moment someone replies, at $24 a month per workspace on annual billing or $49 monthly, and it runs beside JobAdder, Loxo or whatever holds your records. The staffing version of that workflow is on staffing agency outreach tool.
