SeekOut Pricing: What Recruit Core Costs, What Its Three Seats Include, and Where the Custom Tiers Start

SeekOut publishes exactly one price and three "Custom" cards. The published one is more generous than most articles say, and more limited than the plan card suggests. Every figure here was read at seekout.com/pricing on September 16, 2026.

In one answer  SeekOut publishes one price. Recruit Core is $149 a month paid annually and up front, which is $1,788 a year, or $179 a month billed monthly, which is $2,148 a year, and SeekOut states the annual term saves $360 a year. The plan card describes Core as a plan for an individual recruiter, while the feature comparison table on the same page lists three seats included with no option to add a fourth, so the honest reading is a flat $149 a month for up to three recruiters rather than $149 per user. Core includes unlimited search across what SeekOut describes as 1B+ profiles, 30+ filters, 500 contact credits a month, 1,000 exports a month, email integration with send-on-behalf, and AI multi-step campaigns, with a 14-day trial that needs no card and no contract. The other three tiers, Recruit Sourcing, Sourcing plus Integration and the Full Recruiting Funnel, are all billed annually and priced by quote, so one of four plans carries a number. The meter that pushes a team off Core is not seats but contacts: Core's 500 contact credits are per plan, while the Sourcing tier lists 750 per seat.

How much does SeekOut cost?

SeekOut Recruit Core costs $149 a month when paid annually and up front, which SeekOut prints as $1,788 a year, or $179 a month when billed monthly, which works out to $2,148 a year. The page states the annual term saves $360 a year, and the arithmetic is exact: $2,148 less $1,788 is $360. That is the only dollar figure on the page.

Three more plans sit beside it, each labelled Custom and billed annually. Recruit Sourcing is described as per-seat pricing that adjusts with volume. Sourcing plus Integration is packaged to team size. The Full Recruiting Funnel tier is described as fully configurable, with volume-based pricing available. None of the three shows a starting number, a seat minimum or a range, so anyone above the self-serve seat is quoting rather than reading.

The FAQ on the same page confirms the shape: SeekOut says it offers volume discounts and directs teams to sales for custom pricing based on team size, hiring volume and product requirements. In practice that means the published price answers the question for a solo sourcer or a very small desk, and is silent for everyone else.

Recruit Core annual: $149 a month, $1,788 a year, paid up front

Recruit Core monthly: $179 a month, $2,148 a year

Recruit Sourcing: custom, per seat, adjusts with volume

Sourcing plus Integration: custom, packaged to team size

Full Recruiting Funnel: custom, fully configurable

Is SeekOut $149 per user or $149 for the plan?

The page says both, in two places, and the difference matters. The Recruit Core plan card is written for individual recruiters getting started with AI-powered talent search, best for solo sourcers and teams starting with their first dedicated recruiting seat. Lower down, the feature comparison table has a row called "Seats included", and the Core column says 3. The next row, "Additional seats", shows a dash for Core and per-seat pricing for the two Sourcing tiers.

Read together, Recruit Core is a flat $149 a month that can be logged into by up to three people, and the fourth recruiter forces a conversation with sales. It is not $149 per user, which is how we described it on this site until this read and how most comparison articles still describe it. For a three-person desk the effective rate is $49.67 a seat a month on annual billing, or $596 a seat a year, which makes it the cheapest published sourcing seat in the category by a wide margin. For a solo recruiter the other two seats are simply unused.

The catch is in the next section. Seats are shared, but so are the credits.

Feature table: 3 seats included, additional seats not offered on Core

Effective cost with three active seats: $49.67 a seat a month annual

A fourth seat means the custom Sourcing tier

What is included in SeekOut Recruit Core?

Core is a real product rather than a teaser. The plan card lists unlimited search, what SeekOut describes as 1B+ profiles, AI search, 30+ filters, standard power filters, 500 contact credits a month, 1,000 exports a month, Excel, PDF and ATS export, email integration with send on behalf, AI multi-step campaigns, talent pool insights and the help center. The comparison table adds that there is no cap on search results and no query limit at any tier.

The two numbers to underline are 500 and 1,000. Contact credits are what reveal a candidate's email or phone, and exports are how the profile leaves SeekOut for your ATS or a spreadsheet. Both are stated per month for the plan, not per seat. A solo sourcer gets 500 reveals a month. A three-person desk sharing the plan gets the same 500, or about 167 each.

What Core does not include is also explicit: no SSO, no custom or advanced inferred power filters, no inferred security clearance, no advanced diversity filters and insights, no ATS integration, no dedicated customer success, and no healthcare search. Those start on the Sourcing tier or above.

Unlimited search, no results cap, no query limit

500 contact credits a month, per plan

1,000 exports a month, per plan

Email integration, send on behalf, AI multi-step campaigns

Talent pool insights, Excel, PDF and ATS export

Not in Core: SSO, ATS integration, advanced filters, dedicated success

What do the custom SeekOut tiers add?

Recruit Sourcing is Core plus 750 contact credits per seat per month, 5,000 exports per seat per month, custom power filters, advanced inferred power filters, inferred security clearance, advanced diversity filters and insights, SSO, and dedicated customer success. Healthcare search becomes available at this level and AI inbound screening is listed as an add-on.

Sourcing plus Integration adds ATS rediscovery and silver medalists, a unified search across external profiles and your ATS, recruiter usage reports and benchmarks, messaging analytics, market intelligence, and dedicated integration and onboarding. The Full Recruiting Funnel tier adds inbound applicant evaluation with AI screening, job-specific workflows and rubrics, agentic AI workflows marked as new, benchmark dashboards, custom integrations, custom SLAs and compliance, white-glove implementation, executive business reviews and training. At that tier healthcare search and AI inbound screening are included rather than sold as add-ons.

The step that most teams actually take is the first one, from Core to Sourcing, and it is driven by the credit meter. Going from 500 contacts per plan to 750 per seat is a 4.5x increase per recruiter on a three-person desk. That is the real upgrade trigger, and it has no published price.

Sourcing: 750 contacts and 5,000 exports per seat, SSO, advanced filters

Sourcing plus Integration: ATS rediscovery, unified search, analytics

Full Funnel: inbound AI screening, rubrics, custom integrations, SLAs

Per-seat contact allowance on Sourcing is 4.5x Core's shared allowance for a three-seat desk

Does SeekOut have a free trial?

Yes, and it is the most generous trial in this category. The page offers 14 days of full access to SeekOut Recruit Core with no credit card and no contract commitment, and the FAQ repeats that the trial runs real searches against the full database. hireEZ offers seven days. Loxo offers a seven-day trial of Professional with no card. Recruiterflow and Bullhorn publish no self-serve trial at all and route through a demo.

There is no free plan. The trial is only listed for Recruit Core; the comparison table shows a dash under free trial for the three custom tiers.

SeekOut pricing vs hireEZ, Loxo, Recruiterflow and Gem

Here is how the published entry prices line up, each read at the vendor's own pricing page rather than from a roundup. Where a unit differs, the unit is in the table, because it changes the answer more than the headline number does.

Two comparisons are worth stating plainly. Against hireEZ, whose only published figure is $494 a month for a solo recruiter, SeekOut Core is 3.3 times cheaper on annual billing at the plan level, and if all three Core seats are in use the per-recruiter gap is closer to ten to one. Against Loxo, the comparison is not like for like, because Loxo Professional at $199 per user is an ATS, CRM, sourcing graph and sequencer in one system with 2,500 credits per seat, while SeekOut Core is sourcing plus campaigns with 500 credits per plan and no ATS.

The page-one consensus on SeekOut pricing is still that the vendor does not publish it, and that it starts near $833 a month. Both claims are contradicted by the pricing page, which has had a monthly and annual toggle with a dollar figure on it for months. The figures those articles quote are medians of signed enterprise contracts from procurement databases, which is a real thing, but it is not a starting price and it says nothing about the self-serve seat.

Who SeekOut Core pricing makes sense for

It makes sense when sourcing is the bottleneck. A recruiter who cannot find enough qualified, passive candidates in the first place has a database problem, and $149 a month with a real two-week trial is the cheapest published way to test whether a bigger index fixes it. The three shared seats make it an unusually good fit for a two or three-person agency desk that would never clear the seat minimums elsewhere.

It makes less sense when replies are the bottleneck. SeekOut Core includes AI multi-step campaigns, but 500 contact reveals a month is the ceiling on how many people a desk can even address, and the campaigns send through your existing mailbox rather than through warmed sending infrastructure with suppression and per-desk reporting. If your consultants already have candidate lists and the problem is that outreach goes unanswered, the outreach layer is the thing to buy, and it is buyable on its own for about a quarter of SeekOut's price. Our recruitment outreach tool covers how candidate sequencing and client business development run in one account, and the RPO outreach software page covers the per-client separation an RPO desk needs that a shared sourcing seat cannot provide.

The honest split is that plenty of desks need both, and the two do not compete for the same budget line. SeekOut finds the person. The outreach layer gets them to answer. The wider comparison of every tool in the category is on best outreach tool for recruiting agencies, and the ATS side of the same decision is worked through on Bullhorn pricing and Recruiterflow pricing.

Common questions

The questions buyers actually ask before they switch.

How much does SeekOut cost per month?

SeekOut Recruit Core is $179 a month billed monthly, or $149 a month when the year is paid annually and up front, read at seekout.com/pricing on September 16, 2026. Those are the only two published figures. The three tiers above Core are billed annually and priced by quote, so there is no published monthly rate for a team that has outgrown Core.

How much does SeekOut cost per year?

Recruit Core is $1,788 a year paid up front on the annual term, or $2,148 a year if paid monthly at $179. SeekOut states the annual term saves $360 a year, which matches. Because Core includes three seats, a three-person desk pays the same $1,788, which is $596 a seat a year.

Does SeekOut charge per user?

Not on the published plan. Recruit Core is a flat $149 a month with three seats included according to SeekOut's own feature comparison table, and the table shows no option to add seats to Core. Per-seat pricing begins on the Recruit Sourcing tier, which is quote-only and described as adjusting with volume.

Does SeekOut have a free plan?

No. SeekOut publishes no free plan. It offers a 14-day free trial of the full Recruit Core plan with no credit card and no contract commitment, which is longer than the seven-day trials hireEZ and Loxo publish, and it is the only tier with a trial listed.

What are SeekOut contact credits?

Contact credits are what reveal a candidate's email address or phone number. Recruit Core includes 500 a month for the plan, shared across its three seats, plus 1,000 exports a month. The Sourcing tier lists 750 contact credits and 5,000 exports per seat per month, so the credit allowance rather than the seat count is usually what moves a team off Core.

Is SeekOut cheaper than hireEZ?

On published prices, yes, by a wide margin. SeekOut publishes $149 a month annual or $179 monthly for Recruit Core; hireEZ publishes $494 a month for a solo recruiter. That is 3.3 times on the annual term at the plan level, and because Core includes three seats the per-recruiter gap on a full desk is larger still. Several comparison articles state the reverse, and every one of them is contradicted by the two vendors' own pricing pages.

Is SeekOut cheaper than Loxo?

At the entry number they are level: SeekOut Core $149 a month annual, Loxo Core from $149 per user per month annual. The products are not level. Loxo Core is an ATS and CRM with no sourcing graph and no outreach; SeekOut Core is a sourcing database with campaigns and no ATS. Loxo Professional at $199 per user adds sourcing, the agent workforce and 2,500 credits per seat, so a recruiter who needs sourcing and a system of record in one place is comparing $199 per user against $149 for a three-seat plan plus whatever ATS they already run.

Why do other sites say SeekOut does not publish pricing?

Because they source from procurement databases of signed enterprise contracts rather than from the pricing page. A multi-seat SeekOut enterprise agreement across several modules can run to five figures a year, and the median of those contracts is a real number, but it is not a starting price. SeekOut's own page has published $149 annual and $179 monthly for Recruit Core with a visible toggle, so the claim that the vendor publishes nothing is simply out of date.
