Manatal pricing is three published numbers: Professional at $15, Enterprise at $35 and Enterprise Plus at $55 per user per month billed annually, or $19, $39 and $59 month to month. Loxo pricing is two: Core from $149 and Professional from $199 per user per month, annual and paid up front. That is a gap of roughly ten times at the entry tier and it is real, but it is not the whole comparison. The plan that matters for an agency is the one that can actually contact a candidate, and on that question the two vendors are further apart in structure than they are in price.

Both pages were read at source on September 18, 2026: Manatal at manatal.com/pricing, including the 111 row feature grid and the trial FAQ, and Loxo at loxo.co/pricing rendered in a headless browser, which is the only way its plan cards load. The Loxo pricing breakdown carries every Loxo figure on its own; this page puts the two vendors side by side, then shows what a five recruiter desk pays in year one on each option and which of those options includes outreach.

The published prices, side by side

PlanAnnual rateMonthly rateWhat the tier adds
Manatal Professional$15 per user / month$19ATS and CRM, 15 jobs per account, 10,000 candidates, mass emailing, SMS, contact finder
Manatal Enterprise$35 per user / month$39Unlimited jobs and candidates, workflow automations

Loxo EnterpriseNo published priceCustom annualSSO and SAML, advanced roles, dedicated success team

Three structural facts sit underneath the numbers. Manatal prices three of its four plans; Loxo prices two of three. Manatal offers month to month billing on every priced plan at a flat $4 premium; Loxo publishes no monthly rate at all, and every Loxo price is an annual commitment paid up front, so the first invoice covers twelve months. And Manatal states no seat minimum, its FAQ says you can add as many users as you want, while Loxo's free migration applies to Core teams of three seats or more, which is a hint about the team size it expects rather than a stated floor.

The $4 that tells you how each vendor thinks about commitment

Manatal's monthly premium is the same $4 on every tier, and that makes the annual discount shrink as you move up: 21 percent on Professional, 10 percent on Enterprise, under 7 percent on Enterprise Plus. On Loxo the annual commitment is not a discount, it is the only way in. Read together, the two pages describe opposite bets. Manatal is priced so that a small agency can try a plan for a month and leave; Loxo is priced so that the customer is committed for a year before the first search runs.

That difference shows up again in the trials. Manatal offers 14 days with no card and no plan restriction, but its own FAQ lists what the trial excludes: job board posting, sending email from the Manatal domain, mass emailing, email automations, AI generated job descriptions and the consent tool. Those are, almost exactly, the features an agency would want to test before buying. Loxo's trial is 7 days of the full Professional platform, also with no card, which is the tier that includes outreach. So the cheaper vendor lets you try the ATS but not the outreach, and the pricier vendor lets you try the outreach for a week.

Which plan can actually contact a candidate?

This is where the ten times gap stops meaning what it appears to mean. Manatal's feature grid puts mass emailing, text messaging, email integration, shareable templates, the LinkedIn Chrome extension and the candidate phone and email finder in all three published plans, including the $15 one. That is a genuinely low published price for a plan that can send a bulk email to a candidate pool and pull contact details. What the grid does not contain, at any tier, is a multi step candidate sequence: a message, a wait, a follow up, another wait, stopped automatically when the person replies. Mass emailing is one send to many people. Workflow automations, which begin at the $35 Enterprise tier, can trigger actions on pipeline events, but the page does not describe them as timed outreach cadences with reply detection.

Loxo describes exactly that, as personalized multi channel sequences sent and followed through, and it puts the capability in Professional at $199, not in Core at $149. So the honest per seat comparison for an agency that wants to run candidate sequences from inside its ATS is not $15 against $149. It is Manatal, which does not publish a plan with sequences, against Loxo Professional at $199. And the cheapest published price in the category for an ATS, a CRM and sequences from one vendor remains Recruiterflow at $119 per user per month billed annually, a finding set out in the Loxo pricing vs Recruiterflow pricing comparison and unchanged by anything on Manatal's page.

The job limit is per account, not per user

The one Manatal number that catches small agencies is the 15 job cap on Professional. Manatal's FAQ is precise about it: the limit is the number of jobs you can create in the account, it is calculated per account rather than per user, and a job is not a headcount, so one requisition with twenty openings counts once. A three recruiter contingency desk carrying five active searches each is at the cap on day one and moves to Enterprise at $35, which is still $2,100 a year for the three of them. A firm that posts each role to its own site and to a specialist board, say a marketing jobs board for a marketing search practice, will also want to know that free and premium job board posting is excluded from the trial and requires account verification, which Manatal says takes up to three working days after the first payment.

Loxo has no job cap at either published tier. Its meter is credits: Professional includes 2,500 per seat per month, pooled across the team and refreshed monthly, consumed when the AI agents complete work. Core has no credit allowance because it has no agents. Loxo also lists Boost tiers at 5,000 and 12,500 credits with no published price, which we do not estimate.

What a five recruiter desk pays in year one

Per user pricing hides its own size, so here is the same desk on every published option, at the published rates, before add ons.

OptionPer user / year5 recruiters, year oneSequences included?
Manatal Professional, annual$180$900No
Manatal Professional, monthly$228$1,140No
Manatal Enterprise, annual$420$2,100No
Manatal Enterprise Plus, annual$660$3,300No
Loxo Core, annual up front$1,788$8,940No
Loxo Professional, annual up front$2,388$11,940Yes
Recruiterflow Platform, annual, for reference$1,428$7,140Yes, email, calls, text
Manatal Enterprise plus an outreach layer at $39 a month flat$420 plus $468 per desk$2,568Yes, in the outreach layer

Two readings of that table are both true. Loxo Core costs 4.3 times Manatal Enterprise for a five person desk, and neither plan includes sequences, so at the ATS and CRM level the gap is entirely about Loxo's AI search and Manatal's job cap. Loxo Professional costs 3.6 times Manatal Enterprise Plus and is the only one of the two that includes outreach and a candidate database, so for a desk that wants both from one vendor the comparison is between $11,940 and a plan that does not exist on Manatal's page. The last row is the combination most small agencies actually end up running: a cheap system of record plus a separate outreach layer, which comes in at $2,568 for five recruiters with sequences, research per candidate and warmed sending, against $11,940 for the bundled route.

What the pages ranking for this comparison get wrong about Loxo

Search for this matchup and the first page, including Manatal's own comparison page, states that Loxo starts at $169 per user per month with a Basic plan, and at least one result says Loxo requires a sales conversation before disclosing any number. Neither is true against Loxo's live page. The $169 Basic tier, the $119 Starter tier and the free tier were all retired; the two published plans today are Core from $149 and Professional from $199, and both figures sit on the public pricing page with no form in front of them. The same page carried a new customer limited time offer label on the day we read it, with no figure attached, so we do not report one.

The Manatal figures on those pages are mostly right, because Manatal publishes cleanly and the numbers have not moved. The one recurring error is placing API access and SSO in the $35 Enterprise plan; the grid puts both in Enterprise Plus at $55. It is the same pattern we have found across recruiting software pricing: the cheaper, self serve vendor is quoted correctly and the pricier, demo led vendor is quoted from a page that no longer exists.

Which one should an agency buy?

Manatal is the right purchase for a small agency that needs a system of record, sends occasional bulk email to a candidate pool and does not want an annual commitment. At $15 to $35 per user it is the cheapest published ATS and CRM in this category by a wide margin, the month to month option is real, and the trial, with its exclusions understood, is long enough to learn the product. It is the wrong purchase if the reason you are shopping is candidate sequences, because no published plan includes them.

Loxo Professional is the right purchase for a desk that wants sourcing, outreach and a system of record from one vendor and can commit a year up front. At $199 per user it is not cheap, but it is a complete bundle, and its trial is the honest one, since it lets you run the outreach before you pay. Loxo Core is the harder case: at $149 it is priced like a bundle and scoped like an ATS, and an agency buying it for outreach will find the feature in the tier above.

The third route is the one in the last row of the year one table. Keep the cheap system of record, or the one you already have, and add an outreach layer beside it. A recruitment outreach tool that researches each candidate, writes the sequence and runs it from warmed domains at $39 a month flat closes the gap Manatal leaves at every tier, for less than the difference between Manatal Enterprise and Enterprise Plus on a five person desk. The prospecting tools for recruitment agencies page sets out that buy the layer, not the second platform rule in full, and the best outreach tool for recruiting agencies page compares nine bundled platforms at their published entry prices.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Manatal cost per user?

Manatal costs $15 per user per month on the Professional plan, $35 on Enterprise and $55 on Enterprise Plus when billed annually, or $19, $39 and $59 billed monthly, read at manatal.com/pricing on September 18, 2026. The Custom plan has no published price. There is no seat minimum, all three plans include mass emailing, SMS and the contact finder, and the trial is 14 days with no card.

Is Loxo more expensive than Manatal?

Yes, by roughly ten times at the entry tier and about 3.6 to 4.3 times when comparing plans with similar scope. Loxo Core starts at $149 and Professional at $199 per user per month, annual and paid up front, against Manatal at $15 to $55. Loxo's higher plan includes an owned candidate database and multi step sequences; Manatal publishes no plan with sequences and sources through a Chrome extension instead of a database.

Does Manatal include candidate outreach sequences?

Not as a published feature. Every Manatal plan includes mass emailing, SMS, email integration and templates, and Enterprise adds workflow automations, but the 111 row feature grid contains no timed multi step candidate sequence with automatic stop on reply. Agencies that need that either buy Loxo Professional at $199 per user or run a separate outreach layer beside Manatal.

Does Loxo have a monthly plan?

No. Both published Loxo plans, Core from $149 and Professional from $199 per user per month, are annual agreements paid up front, and the page offers no month to month rate. Manatal offers monthly billing on all three priced plans at $4 more per user than the annual rate.

Which is cheaper for a five person recruiting team?

Manatal, at $900 a year on Professional annual or $2,100 on Enterprise, against $8,940 for Loxo Core and $11,940 for Loxo Professional. Only Loxo Professional includes sequences. Manatal Enterprise plus a flat rate outreach layer at $39 a month totals $2,568 for the same five recruiters with sequences included.
