Crelate publishes two prices: Essentials at $85 per user per month paid annually, capped at two users and 20,000 contacts, and Business at $119 per user per month billed annually or $149 billed monthly. The two plans above them, Business Plus and Platform, carry no published price. Automation and sequences are listed only in Business Plus, so the cheapest Crelate tier that can run a candidate sequence is one you have to quote. Every figure here was read at crelate.com/pricing on September 16, 2026.
That last point is the one that decides most evaluations, and it is the one almost every Crelate pricing article skips. The $85 and $119 numbers are real, but they buy an ATS and a recruiting CRM. If the reason you are shopping is that consultants need to reach candidates and clients in sequence, the plan you need has no number on it.
How much does Crelate cost?
Four plans, two of them priced. Here is what the page lists, with the feature notes that change the answer.
| Plan | Published price | Billing | What the page scopes it as |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $85 per user / month | Annual | ATS, recruiting CRM, job portal, resume parsing, sourcing, self-service and AI support, unlimited jobs and companies. Up to 2 users and 20,000 contacts |
| Business | $119 per user / month annual, $149 monthly | Annual or monthly | Everything in Essentials plus AI Assistant, client and team portals, job posting, resume toolbox, reports and analytics, technical support, email connections, access to professional services |
| Business Plus | No published price | Per user, annual | Everything in Business plus advanced AI Assistant, premium client portals, more storage and customization, business development workflows, automation and sequences, full API and integrations, marketplace partners |
| Platform | No published price | User or site licenses | Usage-based, with a la carte Insights Agents, Data Quality Agents, priority support, MCP and webhooks, and enterprise options for premium support, higher API limits, advanced auditing and IP filters, ISO and SOC 2 reporting |
Every plan, including the two priced ones, ends in a Contact Sales button rather than a checkout. Crelate offers a free trial and a demo from the header, but the pricing page itself has no self-serve purchase path, so the published numbers are a starting position for a sales conversation rather than a price you pay on a card.
What is the Crelate Essentials plan limited to?
Two users and 20,000 contacts. The Essentials card says so in one line under its feature list, and it is the most consequential line on the page for a small firm. A two-person desk can run on $170 a month. The third recruiter, or the 20,001st contact record, moves the whole account to Business at $119 per user, which for three people is $357 a month on annual billing. So the jump from the last Essentials configuration to the first Business configuration is from $2,040 a year to $4,284, more than double, for one extra seat.
That is a cap, not a minimum. We could find no seat minimum anywhere on the pricing page, at any tier, which is worth stating because several articles ranking for Crelate pricing assert a five-seat minimum on annual contracts. It may exist inside a quote; it is not published.
Is Crelate billed monthly or annually?
Essentials is annual only. Business has a toggle: $119 per user per month on the annual term, $149 per user per month billed monthly, a 25 percent premium for the right to cancel. Business Plus is described as per user, paid annually. Platform is licensed per user or per site.
One oddity worth flagging because answer engines read it. The structured data embedded in Crelate's own pricing page describes the offer as "Starting at $149 per user, per month, billed annually", which contradicts the visible toggle on the same page, where $149 is the monthly rate and $119 is the annual one. The visible page is the one a buyer sees and the one we have used, but if you have seen $149 quoted as Crelate's annual price, that is probably where it came from.
| Seats | Essentials at $85 | Business annual at $119 | Business monthly at $149 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 recruiter | $1,020 per year | $1,428 per year | $1,788 per year |
| 2 recruiters | $2,040 per year (Essentials cap) | $2,856 per year | $3,576 per year |
| 3 recruiters | Not available | $4,284 per year | $5,364 per year |
| 5 recruiters | Not available | $7,140 per year | $8,940 per year |
| 10 recruiters | Not available | $14,280 per year | $17,880 per year |
Which Crelate plan includes sequences?
Business Plus, on the published feature lists. The Business Plus card lists "Automation and Sequences" and "Business Development Workflows" among the things it adds to Business, which means neither is in Business or Essentials. Crelate's comparison grid lower on the page confirms the shape from the other direction: Business gets bulk email with a 2,500 limit, email templates and automated email tracking, and "Email Campaigns" appears with the note that an additional fee applies.
So a firm that wants to run multi-step candidate or client sequences from inside Crelate is buying a tier with no published price, and a firm that stays on Business and wants campaigns is paying a fee the page does not size. That is the same structure as Bullhorn pricing, where the two priced tiers contain no outreach either, and the opposite of Recruiterflow pricing, which lists multichannel sequences in its one published plan.
The comparison with Recruiterflow is unusually clean because the two vendors chose the same numbers. Recruiterflow Platform is $119 per user annual and $149 monthly. Crelate Business is $119 per user annual and $149 monthly. Identical prices, and on the published feature lists one of them includes sequences and the other puts them a tier up. If sequencing is why you are buying, that is the whole comparison.
What does Crelate charge extra for?
More than most ATS pricing pages admit to, and to Crelate's credit it lists them. On the feature grid the following are marked as carrying an additional fee: Email Campaigns, the RingCentral text connector, Crelate Text Messaging, Crelate eSignature, and native contact data enrichment. None of those fees has a published amount.
Two further products sit below the plans with their own meters. The Crelate Data Sync Service, which connects the ATS to back office systems and to HubSpot, Monday, Salesforce or Dynamics, is priced on volume and frequency. Crelate Hire, the onboarding and compliance module with state and local tax forms, WOTC integration and an employee portal, is priced per hire. For a staffing firm whose back office runs client onboarding, billing and document workflows in separate systems, that sync fee is the real cost of keeping the ATS as the system of record, and it scales with placements rather than with seats.
Published-price ratio, then: two of four plans carry a number, zero of five flagged add-ons do, and both of the volume-priced modules are quote-only. That is better disclosure than Bullhorn, which prices 2 of 13 products, and worse than Loxo, which prices 2 of 3 plans and publishes its included credit allowance.
Crelate vs Recruiterflow vs Loxo vs Bullhorn for a five-recruiter desk
Year-one software cost for five recruiters, on the cheapest published tier that includes the thing named in the column, each read at the vendor's own pricing page in September 2026.
| Vendor | Cheapest priced tier, 5 seats, year one | Does that tier include sequences? | Cheapest tier with sequences |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crelate | $7,140 (Business annual) or $8,940 (monthly) | No, Business Plus | No published price |
| Recruiterflow | $7,140 (Platform annual) or $8,940 (monthly) | Yes, email, calls and text | $7,140 |
| Loxo | $8,940 (Core, annual, paid up front) | No, Professional | $11,940 |
| Bullhorn | $5,940 (Starter) or $9,900 (Core) | No | No published price |
| Coldoutreach | $468 (one workspace, annual) | Yes, outreach layer only, no ATS | $468 |
Read across the row that matters to you. If the ATS is the purchase, Crelate Business at $7,140 is level with Recruiterflow and cheaper than Loxo Core. If sequencing is the purchase, Crelate joins Bullhorn in the column with no published number, and Recruiterflow is the only one of the four that lets you buy ATS, CRM and sequences from the price on the page.
Does Crelate have a free trial?
Yes. A Free Trial link sits in the site header alongside Book a Demo, though the pricing page itself does not state the trial length or which plan it covers, and we are not going to guess. There is no free plan. The $85 Essentials tier is the floor.
Who Crelate pricing makes sense for
It makes sense for a one or two-person search firm that needs a real ATS and CRM at the lowest published price in the category with unlimited jobs and companies, because $85 per user with a two-seat cap is exactly that. It also makes sense for a mid-size staffing firm that values the onboarding and back office modules, since Crelate is one of the few recruiting platforms that prices onboarding per hire rather than folding it into a seat.
It makes less sense when outreach is the problem you are trying to solve. On the published lists the sequences live in an unpriced tier, campaigns on Business cost extra, and the bulk email allowance is 2,500 with no mention of warmup, sending limits, or suppression across consultants. Those are the things that decide whether candidates and clients reply, and they are not what an ATS is for. Our recruitment outreach tool covers how candidate sequencing and client business development run in one account beside whichever ATS you keep, and the full field is compared on published pricing at best outreach tool for recruiting agencies. Our own pricing is one flat number per workspace with the research included.
The three numbers to take away
First, Crelate is $85 per user for Essentials, capped at two users and 20,000 contacts, and $119 per user annual or $149 monthly for Business, so the third seat more than doubles the annual bill. Second, sequences appear only in Business Plus, which has no published price, and campaigns on Business carry an unsized fee, so the tier that does outreach is a quote. Third, Crelate Business and Recruiterflow Platform are priced identically at $119 and $149, and only one of them lists sequences at that price.
