Smartlead is cheaper than Saleshandy for sending alone at the bottom and at very high volume, and Saleshandy is cheaper for anyone who needs contact data, more than one seat on a small budget, or whitelabel for clients. Smartlead charges $39, $94, $174 or $379 a month ($32.50, $78.30, $144.50 or $314.60 billed yearly) and sells verified prospect emails as a $59 a month add-on below its $174 plan. Saleshandy charges $41, $99 or $189 a month ($34, $76 or $149 billed yearly) with Lead Finder credits included in every plan. For an agency with eight clients the gap is large: about $406 a month on Smartlead against $189 on Saleshandy, both on monthly billing.
Both vendors publish a machine-readable pricing file next to their pricing page, and we read both at source on October 6, 2026: smartlead.ai/pricing with its pricing.md, and saleshandy.com/pricing with its pricing.md (last updated by Saleshandy on August 18, 2026). Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax. Where we compute a scenario, the arithmetic is on the page so you can check it.

Is Smartlead cheaper than Saleshandy?
Only if you send and bring your own contacts. Smartlead Base at $39 a month is $2 under Saleshandy Starter at $41, and $1.50 under it on yearly billing. That is the whole of Smartlead's price lead at the bottom, and it disappears the moment you want contact data, because Smartlead sells verified prospect emails on Base and Pro as a $59 a month add-on while Saleshandy includes Lead Finder credits in the plan. Smartlead Base with data is $98 a month; Saleshandy Starter with data is still $41.
Smartlead pulls ahead again at the very top. Unlimited Prime gives 500,000 emails a month for $379, or $314.60 yearly, and Saleshandy's highest published plan stops at 200,000. On cost per thousand emails at full use, Smartlead Prime yearly works out to about $0.63 and Saleshandy Scale yearly to about $0.75. If your model is raw volume above 200,000 sends a month, Smartlead is the one with a published price for it.
How much does each cost for a solo founder?
Take a founder emailing 1,500 accounts with a three-step sequence, about 4,500 emails a month, and pulling contacts from the vendor's database. Saleshandy Starter covers it at $41 a month ($34 yearly): the 6,000 email cap, the 2,000 active prospect cap and the 1,500 Lead Finder credits all fit. Smartlead Base covers the sending at $39, but the contacts need the $59 add-on, so the bill is $98. If the founder already has a clean list, Smartlead is $39 and Saleshandy $41, and the choice comes down to features rather than price.
How much does each cost for a five-person SDR team?
Five SDRs sending 60,000 emails a month to about 20,000 prospects, synced to a CRM. Both vendors' middle plans fit: Smartlead Pro at $94 ($78.30 yearly) with CRM access and API, Saleshandy Pro at $99 ($76 yearly) with ten seats, CRM integrations and webhooks. Without vendor data they are within $5 of each other.
With data, the answer depends on how much. Saleshandy Pro includes 4,000 Lead Finder credits a month. Smartlead Pro plus the $59 add-on is $153 a month and includes 30,000 verified prospect emails. A team that needs 4,000 new contacts a month is better off on Saleshandy at $99. A team that needs 20,000 a month gets far more data per dollar from Smartlead's add-on, because 30,000 verified emails for $59 is about $0.002 each. This is the one scenario where Smartlead's add-on model clearly wins, and most comparison pages miss it because they never divide the add-on by its allowance.
Smartlead vs Saleshandy for agencies
Agencies are where the two models split hardest. Smartlead charges $29 a month per client workspace from Pro upward, so an agency with eight clients on Unlimited Smart pays $174 plus $232, or $406 a month on monthly billing. Unlimited Prime includes three client workspaces in its $379 price. Saleshandy Scale is $189 a month ($149 yearly) with whitelabel, SSO and unlimited users, and it publishes no per-client fee, so eight clients and twenty clients cost the same.
Volume caps matter too. Saleshandy Scale sends up to 200,000 emails a month in total. Eight clients at 20,000 emails each fit; twelve clients at that pace do not, and the next step is a custom Saleshandy plan with no published price. Smartlead's per-client fee is the price of headroom, since Unlimited Prime runs to 500,000 sends. For the per-plan detail on each side see our Saleshandy pricing breakdown and the Smartlead pricing page.
What neither price includes
Mailboxes and domains. Both tools let you connect unlimited accounts, and both sell sending infrastructure as a separate subscription. Smartlead's mailbox marketplace lists Google and Outlook mailboxes at $4.50 a month each plus $13 a year per domain, and pre-warmed mailboxes at $9 plus $18. Saleshandy's add-on runs $2.99 to $3.99 per mailbox a month plus $14 per domain. At 30 mailboxes that difference alone is roughly $15 to $45 a month. Our cold email infrastructure cost breakdown compares both with buying Google Workspace seats yourself.
Both vendors also restructure without much warning. Saleshandy replaced its $25 Starter and separate Lead plans in August 2026, and many pages that rank for this comparison still quote the old numbers. If you are choosing between vendors in a category that reprices this often, it is worth having something track competitor pricing pages for you, rather than trusting a comparison from last quarter.
Which should you choose?
Choose Saleshandy if you need vendor contact data at modest volume, more than one seat on a small budget, or whitelabel for clients without a per-client fee. Choose Smartlead if you bring your own lists and want the lowest entry price, if you need tens of thousands of verified emails a month for $59, or if you send more than 200,000 emails a month. The third option in this group is compared in Instantly vs Saleshandy pricing, and the wider shortlist is on our Smartlead alternatives page.
Where ColdOutreach fits
Smartlead and Saleshandy both price sending volume. Neither researches the prospect before writing, so the opener in each email is whatever template and variables you load. ColdOutreach prices the researched email instead: Starter is $49 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly, for 1,000 drafts, each written after reading the prospect's company site and public signals, inside a sequence that stops when the prospect replies. A team sending 4,500 generic emails a month and getting one percent replies books fewer meetings than a team sending 1,000 researched ones at five percent or more. Paste one real prospect into the composer on the homepage and compare the draft with your current template before you pick a sending plan.
